About the Opportunity

• A leading impact-focused Foundation is seeking a highly experienced Interim Consultant – Programmes & Strategic Delivery to provide short-term leadership and execution support across its programme portfolio during a transition period.
• This consultancy assignment offers an opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives aimed at driving economic participation, strengthening resilience, and creating sustainable social and economic outcomes.
• The successful consultant will ensure programme continuity, strengthen operational effectiveness, support strategic partnerships, and prepare the organisation for a seamless transition to permanent leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Oversight & Execution

• Provide day-to-day oversight of programme implementation.
• Ensure programmes are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned to intended outcomes.
• Identify execution challenges and implement corrective actions to improve performance.

Strategic Delivery & Operational Strengthening

• Translate strategic priorities into actionable execution plans.
• Strengthen programme coordination and delivery mechanisms.
• Improve operational efficiency and accountability across the portfolio.

Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders.
• Support partnership development and resource mobilisation initiatives.
• Contribute to the growth of strategic collaboration opportunities.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning

• Strengthen programme monitoring and performance tracking systems.
• Support data-driven decision-making and reporting.
• Promote continuous learning and improvement across programmes.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Support effective governance processes.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and risk management requirements.

Executive Support & Transition Management

• Provide strategic and operational support to senior leadership.
• Develop transition plans and handover documentation for the incoming programme

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in programme leadership, development, strategy execution, or related fields.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex programmes and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Strong project execution, planning, and operational management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership management capabilities.
• Experience in monitoring, evaluation, learning, and performance management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight timelines.
