Project Accountant / Project Finance Officer at Cowater International

Cowater International is seeking a skilled Project Accountant to support the financial management of donor-funded programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and supporting project teams with budgeting, reporting, and audit readiness. Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project financial records.
• Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports.
• Support financial aspects of project audits and ensure compliance with donor guidelines.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective financial planning and reporting.
• Assist in procurement, contract management, and financial controls related to project implementation.

Job requirements

• ACCA or similar recognised accountancy qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in project financial management or a similar role.
• Experience working on donor-funded programs is essential.
