Project Finance & Modelling Analyst

- Experience 3 - 6 years
- Location Nairobi
- Job Field Finance / Accounting / Audit
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial models for solar and BESS projects.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis across key variables.
- Support pricing strategies and commercial structuring of projects.
- Perform valuation analysis including IRR, NPV, and cash flow modelling.
- Translate technical project inputs into financial outputs.
- Support lender and client discussions with data-driven insights.
- Analyse operational data to refine assumptions and improve models.
- Conduct market research and support growth and expansion initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of experience in financial modelling, project finance, or investment analysis.
- Strong ability to build complex models from first principles.
- Background in energy, infrastructure, investment banking, or private equity preferred.
- Solid understanding of project finance concepts (IRR, DSCR, cash flows).
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
- Degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field.
- Professional certifications (CFA, ACCA, or similar) are an advantage
