Proofreading and Editing Quotations for Adolescent A360 Project Language: American English at Population Services International (PSI)

Responsibilities of the Consultant

• Proofread and edit documents for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting errors
• Ensure consistency in style, tone, and terminology across all written materials, following US English conventions
• Provide suggestions for improving clarity, coherence, and overall quality of written content
• Collaborate with the A360 team to address any issues or concerns regarding the content
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality proofread documents in a timely manner
• Return edited document in track changes mode, plus a clean copy (changes accepted).

Requirements and Experience:

• Proven experience as a proofreader or editor, preferably in the development sector
• Excellent command of English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in written content
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other editing software is preferred
