    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure safety and quality of food and water by conducting regular food and water inspections.
    • Conduct regular sanitary inspections of Hospital Facilities and recommend appropriate chemicals and rodenticide to be used.
    • Ensure proper use of color coded dustbins, storage, and transportation and disposal waste.
    • Ensure drains, manholes, soak pit/septic tanks are dislodged and maintained in a clear state.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned the Supervisor.

    REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

    • Must be a Kenyan Citizen.
    • Diploma in Environmental Health/Public Health or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
    • Registered with the Association of Public Health.
    • Must be Computer literate.
    • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity
    • Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation
    • Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
    • Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
    • Clearance from the Ethics &Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
    • Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)

    The vacancies shall be tenable on Contract Terms at gross pay of Kshs. 50,000 per month renewable upon satisfactory performance.
