QMS Coordinator at BURN

About the role

BURN is looking to hire a QMS Coordinator to design and execute Quality Management Systems in line with applicable standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Organize, track, and maintain information concerning the various aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS).
2. Lead all activities related document control including assigning document numbers, uploading documents on the intranet, acquiring customer and industry standards, record retention and maintaining master log for all documents.
3. Create, update, and/or review QMS related documents, in collaboration with process owners.
4. Assist in managing the Corrective and Preventive Action process by issuing and developing corrective actions in coordination with the process owners, prepare audit reports, follow up on corrective action plans, and perform closeout activities.
5. Assist Quality manager in maintaining the quality system.
6. Be a key member of the internal audit team; organize internal and external audits for QMS.
7. Ensure documentation of the QMS programs is organized and retrievable.
8. Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits.
9. Provide full review, assessment and reporting on management systems compliance to quality.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

1. Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
2. 2-3 years of work experience in QMS audits or experience in managing and maintaining quality management system in manufacturing environment.
3. Quality Auditor or Six Sigma, preferred.
4. Ability to coordinate efficiently to plan, execute audits and follow-ups.
5. Working knowledge of QMS document systems and control practices.
6. Excellent problem solving, presentation, and communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently or in teams. 
8. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015

Education & Experience Required:

1. Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
2. 2-3 years of work experience in QMS audits or experience in managing and maintaining quality management system in manufacturing environment
3. Quality Auditor or Six Sigma, preferred.
