Job Role Description
A Rig Operator is responsible for the operation of the rig, crew, and equipment and for ensuring customer satisfaction with all services rendered. Ensures that all crew are at the rig and ready to work at the scheduled time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conducting machine safety checks each day.
2. Setting up cranes and operating them.
3. Moving material around the site according to plan and schedule.
4. Monitoring crane stability and load weight.
5. Keep records of the material you have moved.
6. Inspect equipment and machinery.
7. Carry out basic repairs to machines.
8. Coordinate with the ground operator and interpret hand verbal signals.
9. Follow safety guidelines and protocols.
10. Other duties will be assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

1. A minimum of 5-year experience.
2. Over 6-year experience in a preferred position.
3. Valid State driver’s license.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills.
5. Effective communication skills.
