    Qualitative Research Specialist

    Job Purpose:

    • To recruit study participants and collect qualitative and quantitative data.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Operationalize study SOPs on site activation, data extraction, participant recruitment, and data collection
    • Ensure compliance to study protocol and institutional guidelines
    • Implement study activities including community engagement, information giving on obtaining informed consent and sample collection
    • Maintaining accurate records of research procedures, results, and observations
    • Provide study team with regular feedback on study activities
    • Participate in regular team calls and meetings
    • Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

    Job Specification:

    • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) with clinical research experience; or
    • Bachelor’s degree in clinical health sciences with clinical research experience; or
    • Master’s degree in medical humanities (e.g., sociology, anthropology, health economics); or
    • Diploma in Health Professions with at least three (3) years’ experience in infectious diseases (HIV, TB) or NCD prevention and care.
