Quality Assurancce Transcription- Gatanga at Ajira Digital Program

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Specifically, Quality Assurance Transcribers will undertake the following activities:
• Reviewing transcripts to confirm accuracy and is the actual representation of the recorded proceeding.
• Tracking errors and sharing feedback.
• Rejecting (in writing and giving reasons for rejection) the draft transcripts for not meeting the standards highlighted.
• Accepting (in writing) draft transcripts as they meet the standard required, forwarding the same to respective users.
• Making minor edits on transcripts and tracking changes.
• Uploading the verified transcripts onto the Judiciary Case Tracking System.
• Conduct training and clarification sessions on request.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements

• KCSE certificate with a minimum grade of C-
• Diploma certificate in related field.
• Certificate in typing skills (Minimum typing speed of at least 30 WPM)
• Basic computer skills – proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point).
• Proof of leadership role in digital work
• Have a set of headphones.
• From the region specified in the advert.
• Proficiency in transcription software and tools like Express scribe, foot pedal, and other transcription tools.
• Previous experience with an online transcription or engagement with Ajira (Ajira training certificate) will be an added advantage.

Duration of The Assignment
