R & D Packaging Technologist at Reckitt Benckiser

Your responsibilities

• Lead industrial Trials on packaging materials at Reckitt factory, DC/Embellishment centers.
• Trial samples analytical evaluations and documentation.
• End to end material development project.
• Material compatibility studies and rigid plastic ESCR evaluation.
• Ensure maintenance of 5s in the Lab and management of assigned R&D QMS pillar.
• Material artwork development and online approvals at vendor sites.
• Active participation in routine local/regional R&D/packaging team meetings and innovation drive to capture new development and deployment strategy.
• Provision of needed packaging support for Factory, DC, Marketing and procurement to ensure business continuity.
• Participate in routine quality audits at pack material vendor sites alongside Quality and Procurement Teams.
• Responsible for all relevant packaging specifications update and initiatives.
• Carry out relevant tests for rigid plastic mold development and validation (FAT/SAT)
• Maintain company safety standards all times while undertaking activities in the Lab, Factory, DC, vendor sites.
• Carry out any other function/ projects as may be directed by Line manager.

The experience we're looking for

• Minimum of 2 years Industrial experience in R&D or related function
• Higher institution degree in Science (BSc/ BTech/HND etc.)
