Duties and Responsibilities 

• Conducting tests and examinations to confirm diagnoses of cancer. 
• Executing radiation treatments. 
• Developing treatment plans which comprise the appropriate therapeutic techniques and drug dosages to be administered.
• Consistently monitoring patients' progress. 
• Providing pharmacological treatment and suggesting appropriate lifestyle changes. 
• Ensure use of all Hospital’s automated systems, as appropriate, including the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS);
• Any other responsibility assigned by the supervisor in the delivery of care.

Minimum Academic Qualifications 

1. Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution. 
2. Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
3. Recognition as a specialist by the KMPDC 
4. Valid Practice License.
5. Professional Insurance Indemnity Cover. 
6. Proficiency in computer applications. 
7. At least one year’ working experience as a Radiation Oncologist in a busy hospital.
