Refrigeration Technician at ASL Trading

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems in cold storage facilities, warehouses, and food processing plants, adhering to established schedules and procedures.
• Respond to customer service calls and diagnose refrigeration system issues over the phone or on-site.
• Repair and replace faulty refrigeration system components, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed.
• Assist senior technicians with repairs and installations (as needed).
• Calibrate and adjust refrigeration controls to optimize performance and efficiency.
• May provide basic training or guidance to clients on proper operation and maintenance of their refrigeration systems.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, following all company safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing and repairing commercial/industrial refrigeration systems preferably in the dairy sector. diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
• Working knowledge of refrigeration principles, components (compressors, condensers, evaporators, etc.), and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic refrigeration service equipment. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to work in confined spaces.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the cold-chain infrastructure industry.
• Proficiency in using refrigeration diagnostic tools and software.
• Experience with brazing and soldering techniques.
