Registered Nurse (RN) at Skin Reveal Aesthetics

The Nurse will provide high-quality, professional care to clients undergoing skincare treatments, cosmetic procedures, and other aesthetic services. This role will ensure that clients receive safe and effective care and support during consultations, treatments, and post-treatment follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting initial consultations, medical assessments, and client history intake before aesthetic procedures.
• Prepare clients for treatments by ensuring they understand the procedures, risks, and aftercare requirements.
• Perform non-invasive and invasive skincare treatments, laser therapies, cosmetic injections, and other clinical procedures.
• Monitor and manage post-procedural care, including dressing and wound management, to ensure optimal recovery.
• Administer medications, including anesthetics or pain relief, as required.
• Track patient vitals before, during, and after procedures to ensure their well-being.
• Educate clients on skin health, procedure aftercare, and overall wellness advice related to their treatments.
• Ensure the clinic’s hygiene and safety protocols are strictly followed, maintaining a sterile working environment.
• Accurately document client consultations, procedures performed, and follow-up care in line with the clinic’s record-keeping standards.
• Provide immediate first aid or life-saving care in case of any medical emergencies during or after procedures.
• Stay up to date with the latest advances in aesthetic and clinical care practices through continuing education and training.
• Perform any other roles as may be assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
• Valid nursing or clinical officer certification from a recognized institution in Kenya.
• Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya or Clinical Officers Council.
• At least 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience, with prior exposure to aesthetics or dermatology being an added advantage.
• Experience in handling non-invasive cosmetic procedures and skin treatments is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client expectations and provide clear treatment guidance.
• Proficiency in using healthcare equipment and performing basic medical procedures.
• Knowledge of skincare treatments, injectable procedures, and laser therapies is an added advantage.
• Attention to detail, compassion, and a strong client-centric approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and safety standards.
