Research Associate (Statistics & Data Management), Institute for Human Development at Aga Khan University Hospital

Job Summary

• To provide research support to an interdisciplinary team of researchers consisting of faculty, post-doctoral fellows, junior researchers and project assistants in various projects within IHD.

Responsibilities

• Lead in data management and analysis;
• Contribute to scientific writing for publication and production of reports (donors, review boards etc); and
• Support with scientific communication and engagement in different forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Statistics, Epidemiology or Data Science;
• A master’s degree will be an added advantage;
• Advanced working knowledge of quantitative statistical software especially STATA and R;
• Demonstrable experience in data management will be an added advantage; and
• At least 2-year experience working in a multidisciplinary project in health sciences.
