Retail Sales Assistant at Fanisi HR Solutions

Our client is in the business of selling meat products and is seeking to hire a Retail Sales Assistant. He/She will provide hands-on support in daily operations at the meat shop, serving both as a customer-facing assistant and a logistical backup. This role ensures smooth continuity when the main store or delivery personnel are off-duty and supports the team in maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Support

• Step in for the Store Manager when needed to handle sales, restocking, cash management, and customer service.
• Assist with weighing, packing, and labeling meat products.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the store.

Delivery Backup

• Pack orders, mapping out delivery routes, and ensuring timely, courteous deliveries.
• Support loading and offloading processes.

Inventory & Order Processing

• Help track stock movement and support reordering processes.
• Assist in preparing customer orders accurately and promptly.

Customer Engagement

• Greet and serve walk-in customers.
• Answer simple customer inquiries on WhatsApp or in person.
• Provide a friendly, knowledgeable customer experience.

Required Specifications:

• Basic numeracy and communication skills.
• Trustworthy, dependable, and hands-on.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
• Valid driving license (if expected to ride a motorbike or drive) or can ride a bicycle for delivery is an added advantage
• Flexible and willing to help where needed.
• Energetic and people-friendly.
• Honest and detail-oriented.
