    Scholary Communications Coordinator/Editor

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    The ideal candidate will be expected to:

    • Support researchers in transforming scientific work into clear, accurate, proposals, and reports.
    • Understand the scientific publishing process: preparing submissions, managing revisions, and communicating with journals.
    • Work with scientific data—ensuring consistency, accuracy, and organization.
    • Assist in developing and coordinating grant applications, timelines, and documentation.
    • Have strong writing, editing, and project-management skills.
    • Collaborate across diverse research teams and manage multiple projects.
    • Be organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at translating complex scientific ideas into polished written materials. 

    Prerequisite skills:

    • Writing and editing skills
    • Scientific and research literacy
    • Technical and software proficiency
    • Project management skills 
    • Communication and collaboration
    • Attention to detail
    • Grant and proposal support

    Job Specifications:

    • Masters degree in research intensive field in biomedical sciences
    • Strong preference for PhD Holders
    • Experience working with International funding bodies
    • Budget development skills
    • Knowledge of compliance and ethics requirements.
    • Has published in peer review journals.
