We are looking for a reflective, collaborative educator with strong expertise in inclusive education and learner support. The ideal candidate will be confident in differentiating instruction, supporting diverse learning needs, and working closely with subject teachers, families, and the learning support team.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or Bachelor of Education with Certification in Special Needs Education (SNE).
• At least three years of experience in an inclusive or special education setting.
• TSC registration is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of inclusive education, curriculum differentiation, and learner support strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Woodland Star International School.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-plan, co-deliver, and co-assess Chemistry and Biology lessons alongside subject teachers.
• Adapt and differentiate instructional materials and strategies for diverse learners.
• Support learners in developing scientific knowledge, conceptual understanding, and problem-solving skills.
• Apply mastery-based teaching, learning, and reporting practices.
• Serve as case manager for ILPs and ensure learner documentation is kept up to date.
• Monitor, document, and communicate learner progress with teachers, families, and the learning support team.
• Provide targeted small-group and individual support where needed.
• Help create a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
• Participate in professional learning, collaborative planning, and school-wide initiatives.
