Job Purpose Statement

Implement intelligence operations involving proactive collection, collation and processing of information into actionable intelligence in alignment with the security strategy.

Key Accountabilities

• Gather security information in support of security operations.
• Collate security information for analysis
• Analyze and interpret information for onward presentation in support of the business
• Monitor and evaluate emerging global aviation trends and patterns and prepare intelligence briefs for management decision making.
• Collect security data and information to identify information gaps and advise on the corrective action in the information integrity process.
• Advise on information targets based on the current trends and threats to the company and the global aviation industry.
• Appropriately distribute information on assessment of operational performance on a need basis and outlined strategies to counter threats.
• Analyze threat and risk assessment reports and in liaison with Security Officer Intelligence and Investigations, give recommendations to mitigate specific risks for management review.
• In liaison with Security Officer Intelligence and Investigations, prepare and distribute security notices and alerts giving recommendations on heightened security measures to be implemented in response to security threats facing or likely to affect the business operations and ensure acknowledged receipts of such notices and by all stakeholders.
• Analyze, update, and maintain the security crime modus operandi database and generate intelligence briefs based on emerging trends and patterns thereof.
• Maintain an effective collation system to ensure secure and systematic capture, storage and retrieval of information integrity data used in conducting employee background checks.
• Maintain intelligence trends and patterns data for reference by management in security decision making.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant professional qualification.
• At least three years’ experience in intelligence field in a reputable organization.
• AVSEC Basic 123 training will be an added advantage
• Training in information analysis
• Advanced training in intelligence will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of threat and risk analysis
