    Senior CDiC & Projects Manager

    The position

    As a Senior CDiC  (Changing Diabetes in Children) Project Manager you will report to the Head Market Access & Public Affairs, Middle Africa . The key purpose of the position is to drive the coordination between Novo Nordisk and the CDiC partners in the program implementation activities. The position based in Kenya overlooking countries in scope for CDiC Middle Africa.

    Your Main accountabilities will include:

    • Contributing to advocacy and communication interventions with key stakeholders across Novo Nordisk MA Affiliate.
    • Ensuring close cooperation with the CDiC core group at affiliate and headquarter level in order toto realise the program deliverables.
    • Coordinating the implementation of project components at an operational level and the logistical framework for mainly insulin.
    • Driving CDiC project activities by supporting local project partners and involved key diabetes doctors.
    • Contributing to the strategy process in the program's development and acting in line with ethical standards, quality requirements and local policies and Novo Nordisk Way

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role you need to have relevant University degree (e.g. in public health, nursing, pharmacy, nutrition, health management, medicine, physiology, etc.).

    The right candidate for this position demonstrates also:

    • 3+ years’ experience from related role in the pharma industry (Project Management, Advocacy, Public Affairs, etc)
    • Experience in building relationships/ working with key stakeholders such as the Ministry of Health and Key Opinion Leaders
    • Experience from working with diverse cultures and teams
    • Other relevant work experience, example working with NGO’s (Non-Governmental Organizations)
    • Proactive and solution-oriented
    • Fluent in English
    • Exhibit a good understanding of business in the local region and proven ability to deal with high pressure environments.
