Professional Requirements

• Must possess Certificate of Secondary Education
• Must possess Diploma in relevant Information Technology/Information Communication Technology/Information Science) from a recognized institution
• Must have at least three (3) years working experience as Clerical Officer I at Grade 5N or position of comparable duties and responsibilities.
• Must be provide evidence of computer literacy.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive correspondences/mail from various sources
• Sorting and classifying mails
• Open/ close files as required
• Update and maintain files by filling documents
• Control and trace the movement of files and documents within the organization
• Processing and maintaining records and statistics for the departments
• Maintaining efficient file indexing, folioing and filling
• Custodian of all the records in the University Registry
• Summarize documents
• Composing routine correspondence
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
