    Senior Compliance Officer - 3 Posts

    Duties and responsibilities
    Duties and responsibilities entail:

    • Participating in reviewing and updating the monitoring tools for children’s institutions;
    • Participating in the preparation and inspection reports;
    • Participating in monitoring of adherence to set standards by children’s institutions;
    • Participating in reviewing of children programmes and policies in order to address children emerging issues;
    • Disseminating standards on the care of displaced or unaccompanied children to stakeholders for implementation;
    • Assisting in monitoring implementation of international and regional obligations relating to rights and welfare of children;
    • Organizing trainings of stakeholders on the rights and welfare of children;
    • Assisting in dissemination of laws, policies, guidelines on the rights and welfare of children;
    • Carrying out advocacy, public education and awaren

    Job Specification    
     For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

    •  Cumulative service period of six (6) years’ three (3) of which must be at the grade of Compliance Officer I or in a comparable position;
    • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Social Sciences, Education; Sociology; Gender, Women and Development Studies; Gender and Development; Community Development; Counseling and Psychology; Sociology and Religious Studies; Sociology and Economics or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Membership to a relevant professional body where applicable; and
    • Computer Proficiency.
