Senior Data Analyst at Keitt Exporters Limited

Salary:

• KES 80,000 – 100,000 Gross per Month

Position Summary

• The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting business data to support management decisions. The role will work closely with Operations, Finance, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Production, and HR departments to improve reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large volumes of business data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and management KPIs.
• Analyze operational, sales, production, inventory, and financial data.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc management reports.
• Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor data quality and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Work with department heads to understand reporting requirements and provide analytical solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
• Support internal audit activities through data analysis and exception reporting.
• Develop performance tracking tools and business intelligence reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Analysis, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analytical role.
• Experience working with large datasets and business reporting.
• Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, export, logistics, or supply chain industries will be an added advantage.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• Advanced Excel skills including:
• Pivot Tables
• Power Query
• VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• INDEX MATCH
• Advanced Formulas
• Data Validation
• Dashboard Development
• Data Analysis and Reporting
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
