About the role

We need to strengthen our controls environment and ensure that the right controls are implemented and automated/built into the ERP. This will enable the Finance function to facilitate efficient business operations and ensure working capital is being managed effectively.

Key responsibilities are:

• Taking full ownership of setting up the Account Receivable (AR) process for Modern Trade and executing on the onboarding on Credit terms
• Adopting strict Account Receivable (AR) process, working with Sales and Supply Chain teams for General Trade to bring it down to 1% of GMV
• Leading the ERP migration process
• Drafting process for Accounts Payable (AP) approvals while ensuring that budget owners remain accountable
• Drafting procurement process to ensure at the peak of each month we're holding 4 days of inventory
• Reviewing all existing contracts to ensure that they are beneficial to the business, and also be involved in future contract negotiations
• Be the right hand person of the Finance Manager in terms of budgeting, forecasting and reporting

Who you are

We are looking for someone who has experience in Financial Controlling or Financial Operations with a strong customer-first mindset. The incumbent needs to be diligent in process implementation and understands what is most important to achieve in order to maintain a strong financial control environment.

• Ability in assessing existing gaps in controls environment and foreseeing new gaps in an ever-changing environment
• Pragmatic in developing new SOPs and being excellent at implementing them across departments
• A great eye for detail especially in repetitive processes
• Ability to work across departments and show an understanding of customer needs and company operations
• Strong  prioritizing and ability to hustle today to fix the most important issues
• Ability to work smart to automate checks and balances
