Senior Lecturers - Department of Science (Public Health) at Daystar University

Required Qualifications for Senior Lecturer:

• An earned a PhD in Education, IT,  Public Health and a Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
• At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a Lecturer, with a demonstrable record in research and publication.
• A minimum of 32 publication points as a Lecturer, with at least 24 referred scholarly journals.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience teaching in a hybrid environment (face-to-face and online).
• Supervised at least three (3) postgraduate students’ theses to completion. 
• Strong commitment to mentoring students and faculty in research methodologies.
• Evidence of ability to attract research funding and lead research projects.
• Demonstrated success in interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagements related to research.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the areas of Public Health, Education (Science), and Information Technology.
• Supervise and mentor postgraduate students in their research projects and dissertations.
• Conduct high-quality research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Develop and implement innovative research strategies that align with the University's mission.
• Engage with the academic community and participate in conferences and workshops.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement of research capacity within the University.
