Senior Mobile Engineer at Lipa Later Limited

Job Summary:

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development process and maintaining a suite of mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and provide technical leadership. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in native mobile application development on Android and/or iOS, experience working with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter/React Native, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and delivery of our mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Promote and ensure the application of current best practices in mobile software design, interaction, usability, and accessibility.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a senior mobile engineer with a strong portfolio of projects.
• Deep familiarity with programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Objective-C.
• Experience working with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter and React Native
• Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Familiarity with OOP design principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Experience with Firebase and or similar cloud services
