Senior Supply Chain Management Officer - 1 Position at Lake Victoria South Water Services Board (LVSWSB)

Job Specification
Duties and responsibilities entail;

• Implementing the annual procurement and disposal plans;
• Providing secretariat to committees’ incidental to procurement of goods and services, and disposal of assets;
• Ensuring procured goods, services and works are as per specifications;
• Drafting contract documents for goods, works and services;
• Initiating request for payment for goods, works and services rendered and follow up to ensure settlement; and
• Carrying out market surveys to ensure the Agency obtains value for money.

Person Specification
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have/be; -

• Four (4) years relevant work experience in public or private institution;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Procurement and Supplies Management, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• A certificate in supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications
• A Member of professional body either KISM or CIPS in good standing;
• Demonstrated results in work performance.
