    Service Engineer C

    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team based in Kenya

    The Role Responsibilities Include

    • Fulfilling Preventive Maintenance Agreements
    • Providing installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance and trouble-shooting services on Tetra Pak Processing Equipment
    • Timely reporting of technical issues
    • Coaching & Training customer's operators and technicians on site
    • Delivering service products and support to our customers in order to maximize their system performance
    • Interfacing with customers to establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship as well as following-up with customers concerns and problems
    • Maintaining and administrating customer files & reporting responsibilities for technical service department
    • Inform relevant Tetra Pak staff about ongoing service activities as well as of any issues affecting the customer or the quality of Tetra Pak service. Inform about any business opportunity discovered at the customer through the relevant channels.

    Qualification

    • Strong electrical ,control, mechanical and automation engineering background
    • High Grade in Engineering Degree
    • 2 to 5 years experience in maintenance in the food or technical industry (preferrably field servicing experience)
    • A good understanding of English is mandatory, Persian Language Proefficiency is needed
    • Driving License is mandatory
    • Ability to maintain positive customer relationships through strong technical skills and good interpersonal skills
    • Must demonstrate the ability to install and commission complex lines independently
    • Good working knowledge of PLC’s (Siemens, Allen Bradley)
    • Accountable, customer-oriented and a team player
    • Good experience in problem solving skills - Problem Solving Methodology (PSM) knowledge is an advantage
    • Must be willing to travel extensively both locally and internationally

    Main Purpose of the Job Execute preventive maintenance of customer equipment. Execute installation tasks as required Key ResponsibilitiesCritical Experience +3 years experience in Installations, maintenance and/or service work. Can independently deliver preventive maintenance, installation tasks and rebuilding kit installations. Example of previous positions: Technician, Service Engineer from another company, Development Engineer, Production engineer Minimum Education University Bachelor in automation, process or mechanical engineering or equivalent

    • Execute installation tasks, assembling machines and conveyers.
    • Execute preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment according to defined expectations.
    • Execute timely reporting of all discovered Technical Issues according to the QTIM processes.
    • Execute installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits according to procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment according to defined expectations.
    • Inform relevant Tetra Pak staff about ongoing service activities as well as of any issues affecting the customer or the quality of Tetra Pak service. Inform about any business opportunity discovered at the customer through the relevant channels.
    • Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring and promoting good working relationships with the customer and that TP’s reputation is sustained.
    • Execute and complete all relevant reports in an accurate and timely way. Distribute reports according to existing procedures and ensure that proper handover is done.
    • Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements. Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance and regulatory issues.

    Critical Experience 

    • +3 years experience in Installations, maintenance and/or service work.
    • Can independently deliver preventive maintenance, installation tasks and rebuilding kit installations. Example of previous positions: Technician, Service Engineer from another company, Development Engineer, Production engineer 

    Minimum Education 

    University Bachelor in automation, process or mechanical engineering or equivalent
