    Social Media Associate - Jumia (Full Time)

    Main Responsibilities

    1. Implement the company’s social media marketing strategy 
    2. Run company's social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, blogs) 
    3. Develop content, brand awareness, and generate traffic to the various accounts
    4. Cultivate leads by reaching out to people on social media and turning this to sales
    5. Ensure consistent growth of likes, fans, followers, tweets, reach and engagement of our customers
    6. Attend and share Jumia events with the online community
    7. Ensure status updates, landing pages or Facebook ads create a lasting effect on the audience
    8. Promote and grow the Jumia brand online
    9. Listen, respond, ask questions and engage with the audience
    10. Create relevant content to reach the company’s ideal customers.
    11. Create and manage all published content (images, video and written).
    12. Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
    13. Oversee design (Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, profiles and blogs)
    14. Compile report for management showing results of engaging on social media
    15. Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces
    16. Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
    17. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    1. Degree/ Diploma in Business/ Marketing/ PR/ Communication
    2. Excellent IT skills especially using web applications and Other ERP software
    3. At least 1 year experience handling social media for an organization
    4. Social Media enthusiast, influential online personality etc.
    5. Sharp, outgoing and up to date individual
