Social Media Intern at SPARK Publicity

Content Creation & Scheduling:

• Design and create engaging social media content (graphics, videos, reels, captions, etc.).
• Assist in planning and scheduling posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
• Research and curate relevant industry trends and user-generated content.

Community Engagement:

• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.
• Engage with followers, influencers, and relevant communities to build relationships.
• Conduct interactive activities like polls, Q&A sessions, and contests to boost engagement.

Analytics & Reporting:

• Track key social media metrics (reach, engagement, followers, etc.) and provide insights.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on social media performance and suggest improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes.

Collaboration & Strategy:

• Collaborate with the internal team to develop creative campaigns.
• Assist in influencer outreach and partnerships to expand reach.
• Brainstorm new ideas to enhance brand awareness and audience interaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or video editing software is a plus.
• Self-driven, creative thinker, and able to work independently.
• Organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
