Roles & Responsibilities

• Designing and building front-end components mobile and web
• Integrating backend services with front-end components
• Using a TDD approach while writing JavaScript
• Code reviews
• Mentor Junior developers to create well structured, robust code
• Documenting code, processes and designs created.

Required Qualifications

• Great interpersonal skills.
• 3+ years experience developing backend services
• 2+ years building back-end services using NodeJS
• 1+ year building frontends using ReactJS
• Experience with Sequelize ORM
• Experience with PassportJS for authentication
• Experience using Express JS web framework
• 1+ year experience with a JavaScript testing framework
• (Jest/Mocha/Chai/Jasmine/Karma etc.)
• Comfortable using git

Nice to Have Skills

• NextJS experience
• 1+ years implementing RabbitMQ or any other equivalent Message-Broker software.
• 1+ years building web/mobile apps using React (Web) or React Native (mobile)
• Comfortable using Linux or Mac OS for development and testing
• Experience with JavaScript tools such as karma, gulp or grunt
• Experience using JIRA, Trac, Confluence or similar wiki systems for documentation and collaboration.
• Experience with automated & acceptance testing of React or React Native components using tools such as Appium, Detox, Calabash (Acceptance testing).
