    About the Position

    To sharpen your software quality assurance skills and demonstrate on-the-job learning growth through practically carrying out various assignments as assigned and desired. The incumbent will take part in monitoring every phase of the software development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to the client and company standards. The incumbent will provide evidence that establishes confidence to produce products of suitable quality for their intended purposes.

    Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support the technical team in the production of high-quality products that meet and even surpass stakeholders’ standards.
    • Determine product quality and release readiness based on defined standards and procedures.
    • Document test cases.
    • Discover bugs within software.
    • Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes.
    • Identify, isolate and track bugs throughout testing.
    • Identify any potential problems that users might encounter.
    • Implement automated tests.
    • Perform manual and automated testing.
    • Perform and document risk analysis.
    • Record test progress and results.
    • Research and analyze product features being tested.
    • Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes.
    • Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.

    Qualifications

    We are looking for an ambitious and dependable person, experienced yet with a never-ending hunger for personal growth, and capable of taking large responsibility. You should be an open-minded person that challenges all knowledge and assumptions and that is inspired to solve the problems of today's societies.

    You should be having a Bachelor's in Computer Science (or similar qualifications), with at least one year of work experience in technical quality assurance realm.

    Required Experience in the following is a plus: Quality Assurance Automation, Experience working with and setting up a test environment, Scrum, Kanban, Software Development Life Cycle, Agile Development, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD), Postman, JMeter, Selenium, JIRA, Kubernetes, Docker, Docker Compose, Cloud, GCP, Jenkins, GitHub, CircleCI, Terraform, Mocha, Jest etc.

    The successful candidate needs to be hands-on proving they have had prior experience in quality assurance and scripting.

    We are looking for holistic hands-on individuals that show high potential for rapid personal development and have demonstrated the ability to handle Quality Assurance across their entire IT and ERP Circle of Excellence. This person should be an automation expert.

    You must have strong analytical, critical thinking, reasoning, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    3. Ability to perform user tests and the empathy to move oneself into the shoes of the user.
