Software Systems Analyst at Roam Electric

About the role:

As a Systems Analyst at Roam, you will play a pivotal role in understanding our current processes and software systems, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending innovative solutions that drive efficiency and productivity.

Key Duties and responsibilities:

• Analyze and Document: Translate business requirements into detailed architectures and designs.Document all technical requirements and design technical solutions utilizing enterprise architecture standards including documenting all solution components and configurations
• Recommend Solutions: Propose software solutions or optimizations that address identified challenges.
• Liaise with Stakeholders: Engage with department leads, users, and the software development team to gather requirements and understand user needs.
• Prototype and Model: Create models, diagrams, and prototypes to demonstrate and visualize proposed solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the software development team to ensure that system improvements are implemented effectively.
• Ongoing Analysis: Regularly review implemented changes, ensuring they meet user needs and provide the expected benefits.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in systems analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in systems analysis or a related role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Familiarity with [specific tools, languages, or methodologies, e.g., "UML, SQL, Agile methodologies"]
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
