Sourcing, Operations and Farmer Engagement Interns at Fanisi HR Solutions

JOB PURPOSE

The position entails actively participating in engagement activities for stakeholders, including farmers, harvesters, and agents, covering aspects from onboarding and training to establishing market connections and collecting feedback. Additionally, the intern will collaborate with the product team to optimize operational efficiency.

Reporting Line:  Senior Hub Operator

DUTIES AND RESPOSNIBILITIES

• Developing and implementing strategies to engage farmers, as well as managing relationships with public, development, and private sector partners.
• Document and escalate farmer pain points periodically.
• Responsible for order fulfillment and reporting, ensuring timely deliveries, signoffs and disposal of rejects in accordance to SOPs.
• Channeling buyer feedback to operators on product acceptance, quality standards and areas of improvement.
• Coordinate and plan regular buyer feedback sessions.
• Provide input to the product and technology team in building tools and solutions that will increase efficiency in operations. This includes working with the product and technology team to identify and implement solutions that will improve the efficiency of operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A final year student or recent graduate in Agribusiness, or any related course, eager to increase their knowledge base on Agri-innovation and market linkage.
