Job description

The teacher is to be in charge of the class in filling the gaps, innovating and intervening for the learners in order to provide a dignified life for the learners, which is the vision of the organisation

Responsibilities and Duties

• Preparing Individualised Education Plans for the learners
• Meeting with parent amd IEP team for IEP deliberations and evaluation.
• Preparation of lesson plans in time 
• Managing behavior and conflict resolution in class
• Maintaining order and displine in the class
• Giving termly progress reports to the IEP team.
• Conducting assessments and giving recommendations for the learners.
• Provide continuous assessment for the learners
• Maintain classroom order and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in special needs education from a recognised university or a diploma in special needs and have an experience in the same for a tleast an year.
• Experience of at least 2years handling learners of the same nature.
• A certificate in sign language not compulsory but an added advantage.
• The candidate must be creative and innovative.
• They must be passionate, intrinstically motivated and patient.
