Sports Administrator at Strathmore University

Basic Job Summary:

• The job holder is responsible for the administration and coordination of all sport-related activities in Strathmore University.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Program Supervision Oversee students and coaches to ensure adherence to the University's schedule for field activities, ensuring the proper implementation of sports programs.
• Data Analysis and Reporting Pro Generate periodic reports by analyzing information and statistics, providing valuable insights to support the decision-making process within the department.
• Facility and Equipment Management Participate in the procurement of sports equipment and tools and manage sports facilities and property to ensure optimal functionality.
• Staff Recruitment and Development Participate in staff recruitment, ensuring that candidates meet departmental requirements and contribute positively by utilizing their skillsets.
• Sports Scholarship Coordination Provide input into the selection process of sports scholarships students

Minimum Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sports related field

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience with at least 1 years in a supervisory role.
