Dental Technicians at St. Francis Community Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Replaces partial or total loss of natural teeth by constructing partial or full dentures (metal and non-metal).
• Restores natural teeth by fabricating crowns and bridges.
• Corrects dental irregularities by manufacturing fixed or removable appliances.
• Constructs prostheses by following the dentist’s prescription.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintaining supplies inventories; keeping equipment operating.
• Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; implementing changes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Dental technology from Kenya Medical Training Centre (KMTC) or any other recognized institution.
• Registered by the relevant board.
• Minimum of three (2) years working experience in a busy health facility.
