Statistical Infographics Designer at UN-Habitat

Under the direct supervision of the Chief of the Data and Analytics Unit. She/he will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Design technical materials and reports including assessment reports and related factsheets
• Convert data generated into city and country profiles
• Design material for capacity development including step by step manuals and presentations
• Develop and update e-learning and audio-visual material on selected urban indicators for online dissemination, based on the approved methodologies and developed modules.

Qualifications/special skills

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training in Statistical Infographics, or any other closely related field is required A minimum of seven (7) years of work experience working as statistical infographic designer working on a broad range of urban and human settlements issues is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced by two (2) years for candidates who possess a first level University degree. Knowledge of and experience working with the SDGs is highly desirable.

Languages

• For this consultancy, fluency in oral and written English is required. Although not a requirement, knowledge of any other UN language will be an advantage.
