Cashier at Stellar Human Resource Solutions

Responisibilities

• Operate cash register, scanner, and related equipment.
• Sell merchandise to qualified customers, requesting identification as appropriate.
• Completes sales reports at end of each shift, reconciling cash drawer; and records any noteworthy items in the logbook for incoming clerk(s).
• Maintain store appearance: dust bottles and shelves regularly, sweep and/or vacuum floors, and clean windows as directed.
• Stock shelves and cooler racks at all levels, bring replacement stocks from storage as directed, and keeps shelves arranged in an orderly and attractive manner.
• Open and close the store at designated times and activates the security system.
• Work flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends. holidays) as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a Certificate or Diploma in a related field
• Mastery of the Kikuyu Language
• Work experience-as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and PDQ, POS
• Excellent Excel and book keeping skills
• Well organized and
• High level of honesty and integrity
• Good math skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
