    Supervisor – Business Intelligence

    Job Purpose

    The purpose of the role is to develop, deploy, and maintain BI tools and interfaces. Position is also responsible for simplifying highly technical language and complex information into simple terms for use by various users.

    Key Responsibilities/ Duties / Tasks

    • Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities
    • Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions.
    • Crafting and executing queries upon request for data.
    • Presenting information through reports and visualizations.
    • Development and deployment of risk profiling rules
    • Roll out and training users of the BI platform
    • Preparation and compilation of reports of analyzed data.
    • Supervision of BI analysts and developers.

    Operational Responsibilities / Tasks

    • Implementation of annual workplans

    Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills).

    Academic qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.

    Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies

    • Membership to relevant a professional body.

    Previous relevant work experience required.

    • Three (3) years’ working experience developing organizational reports.
    • Experience working on business cases, requirements, test cases, scenarios and scripts
    • Experience in rolling out systems and training users
    • Experience in change management will be an added advantage.
    • Familiarity with revenue collection practices and policies.

    Functional Skills, Behavioral Competencies/Attributes:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to quickly synthesize Data and develop recommendations.
    • Demonstrable behavioral analytical experience
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal including effective presentation
    • Leadership qualities which include teamwork, good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
    • Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to team environments
    • Meticulous and with attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task as well as work under pressure
    • A person of integrity
