Supply Chain Management Assistant at Suguna Foods Limited

Responsibilities

• Sourcing for quality raw materials from suppliers whilst ensuring that minimum stock levels are maintained
• Receiving invoices and verifying them against purchase orders and delivery notes and ensure all stages of procurement check list have been completed before forwarding to the accounts department
• Visiting existing and new suppliers to build and maintain good relationships
• Undertaking market surveys and research to determine market rates, future raw materials availability and identifying potential suppliers
• Interacting with suppliers on a day to day basis and negotiating aggressively for best prices
• Overseeing offloading and generating of GRNs and signing off delivery notes
• Sourcing for and purchasing machines spare parts in close conjunction with the production manager
• Any other duty assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution or any other relevant field of study
• Minimum experience: 1 -2 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• High levels of integrity and honesty
• Time management and organizational skills required
