Summary of key functions/accountabilities:

• Provide Technical support to UNICEF Country Offices on management of the Supply Planning and monitoring.
• Supply Chain service delivery and emergency response
• Collaboration with Country office programme, Supply teams and implementing partners.
• Technical, advisory support to government/national systems
• Innovation, products, and markets

Minimum requirements

Education: 

• Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Supply/Purchasing,Logistics, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, International Development, Health, Social Sciences and any other related fields.

Work Experience:

•  At least 8 years of relevant work experience in Supply Management/Contracting/Logistics, Administration, Procurement, Contracting, Emergency and any other related fields.

Skills: 

• Analysis, Coordination, Critical Thinking, Risk Assessment, Supply Planning, Technical Support are required.

Language Requirements:

•  Fluency in English is required. 

Desirables

• Language: Knowledge of French is considered as an asset.
• Experience in Strategic, Monitoring, Capacity Building, Government Advisory Support, Evaluation are considered as an asset.
• Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
