    Supply Planner

    Job purpose:

    • Responsible for all lubricants supply planning initiatives in line with the approved forecast. To ensure that there is enough supply on hand at any given time.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Coordinate lubricants supply planning activities (from raw/ packaging materials to Finished Goods) and manage supply planning to primary supply locations.
    • Coordinate all the raw/ packaging materials lubricants orders with suppliers to ensure they meet delivery schedules.
    • Monitor and report on Supplier performance for vendor performance assessment/ appraisal, per Rubis standards.
    • Lead monthly collaborative meetings between Rubis and Suppliers to communicate the Monthly Supply Plan, review any supply chain constraints and provide recommendations for resolution.
    • Ensure prompt processing of supplier invoices, timely supplier payments and closure of any disputes.
    • Ensure compliance with the stock management policy, through monthly reporting of variances and quarterly review of stock policy, and provide alignment on safety stock and re-order levels.
    • Maintain enough inventory to meet demands without overstocking.
    • We are collaborating with distribution, production, and other supply chain department team members.

    Key challenges:

    • Satisfy the customer by ensuring stocks are availed ON TIME IN FULL against challenging sales forecast signals.
    • Managing suppliers to deliver quality packaging materials on time consistently and sometimes under short notice
    • Long varying supply lead times for imported raw materials and finished goods.

    Requirements

    • University degree preferably business-oriented filed
    • Two years’ working experience is required.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of the MRP system (ASCP Oracle) is an added advantage
    • Be a person of high integrity, self-driven, and able to work under pressure.
    • Excellent analytical and exceptional attention to detail and follow through.
    • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
