Stores Clerk at Syngenta

Role purpose

To coordinate smooth operations in the stores department i.e. receiving of goods, storage and issuing to end users

Accountabilities

• Responsible for receiving and checking all deliveries e.g locally and import
• Keep inventory management systems up to date issuing & receipts in the system
• Decanting of chemical morning and evening.
• Writing Gate pass – Releasing pass.
• Maintain a monitoring system of the movement of materials from main store to the workshop
• Maintain an appropriate coding system for equipment, maintenance items and other items of stores
• Compile weekly and monthly data
• Document management in the Stores i.e. MSDS and Procedures
• Keep inventory management systems up to date, issuing in SAP
• Weighing of Fertilizer for L&G/R&D.
• Dispensing of Diesel and Petrol.
• Maintain the records of movement for CAPEX materials from the store to different departments.
• Invoices and deliveries submission to finance for payment.
• Data Management in the stores, should maintains accurate and up to date stores records for accountability and control i.e. MSDS, KFC, Filing and Procedures
• Enforces HSE rules and regulations and champions the implementation of the Syngenta HSE policy in all business operations.
• Any other tasks & projects as may be allocated from time to time

Qualifications

Critical knowledge

• Diploma in stores and supplies

Critical Experience

• 2-years’ experience in store management

• SAP application
• Excel proficiency
• Stock take
