• Moyee Coffee is a FairChain coffee company. We roast at origin in Ethiopia and Kenya, we sell directly to the people who drink our coffee across Europe, and we run a roastery and café in Nairobi. Not fair trade with a certificate — fair chain, with the value staying where the coffee grows.
• We're looking for someone to own our online business in Kenya, and to be the digital expert in our European growth team. One person. One Odoo platform. Two markets.

Why this role exists

• Most digital roles are one of two things: a strategist who briefs an agency, or a specialist who runs one channel. This is neither.
• In Kenya, you are the owner. The Odoo website and webshop for the Kenyan market are your business — the pages, the product catalogue, the checkout, the payments, the campaigns, the revenue. Not a maintainer. An owner with a number.
• In Europe, you are the expert. You optimise paid, CRM and conversion across our pan-European rollout, alongside our paid specialist and our technical lead.
• The connection between the two is the point. Because you own the Kenya shop completely, you can test at full speed on a live shop — no committee, no ticket queue, no waiting. New page designs, checkout flows, subscription mechanics and campaign formats get built and proven in Nairobi first. What works travels to Europe with results attached.
• Test it in Kenya. Prove it in Kenya. Roll it out in Europe. You run both ends of that loop.

What you'll do

Own the Kenya webshop, end to end

• Full ownership of the Kenya Odoo website and shop: structure, content, products, pricing, promotions
• Design and build the pages yourself in Odoo Website Builder — mobile-first, fast, and built for the phones Kenyan customers actually use
• Own the sales flow from product page to confirmation, including local payment methods and delivery options that fit how Nairobi buys
• Run the local growth calendar: campaigns, offers and launches connected to the café, the roastery and our microlot programme
• Build subscriptions and repeat purchase for a Kenyan audience — not a copy-paste of what works in Amsterdam
• Kenya online revenue is your number.

Be the digital expert in Europe

• Run and optimise paid campaigns (Google Search, Display, Meta) together with our paid specialist
• Build and improve the CRM and lifecycle flows in Odoo: welcome, repeat purchase, winback, subscription journeys
• Own conversion optimisation on the European webshop — landing pages, product pages, checkout, account flows
• Support new market launches with working campaigns and pages
• Build the dashboards that connect Odoo, Google Ads and Meta, so every channel has one number everyone agrees on

Run the laboratory

• One deliberate test per week on the Kenya shop, documented with result and decision
• Keep a living playbook: what was tested, what won, what Europe should copy
• Propose and implement the transfers — minimum one Kenya-proven improvement live in Europe per quarter

What this role is not

• Not an agency-management role. There's nobody to brief and wait for. You build it.
• Not a strategy role without hands. If you can't open Odoo and change how a page looks and sells before lunch, this isn't the right fit.
• Not a content role. Our content pod makes the stories and the reels. You tell them what the funnel needs and show them what performed.
• Not two half-jobs. The shop you own is the proving ground for the platform you optimise.

Who you are

• Odoo web expert. Deep, hands-on experience with Odoo Website and eCommerce: building and styling pages, templates, product configuration, payment providers, sales flows.
• You've run growth yourself. Personally managed paid campaigns (Google / Meta) and email/CRM flows — and you know how to read what the numbers actually say.
• Design and flow instinct. Pages that look like the brand and sell like a funnel.
• Data discipline. Dashboards and attribution are how you decide, not how you decorate.
• Owner's mindset. You want a business to run, not a queue of tickets to close.
• Let's-do-it mentality. You test something every week, learn from it, and go again.
• A plus: experience with European e-commerce and how those markets tick.

Days 31–60

Improve both sides

• Redesigned homepage, key product pages and checkout live in Kenya. First local campaign running. European paid restructured. Core CRM flows improved. Weekly testing rhythm and dashboards live.

Days 61–90

Close the loop

• Kenya improvements measured against baseline. First Kenya-proven improvement live on the European shop. Playbook v1 written. 90-day review and Year 1 plan.
