    Team Lead, Pediatrics Products

    Job Description

    • Create an inspiring team environment where every team member feels supported to meet their work expectations.
    • Manage all feedback from the client relating to quality to ensure the team is consistently meeting and surpassing quality expectations.
    • Set and communicate clear team and individual goals for all the processes under the pediatrics products.
    • Oversee day to day operations while ensuring the numbers on the production tool are up-to date at all times.
    • In consultation with the project manager, review and update all the training manuals to ensure they are up-to date and that the team is well informed through refresher trainings.
    • Assign tasks with clear deadlines to the team under pediatrics products.
    • Plan and schedule the team members leave in such a way that ensures reduced leave liability to SALIX without jeopardizing the processes.
    • Train, coach and support the new members in the project to ensure they understand and are well prepared to meet client expectations.
    • Prepare monthly or weekly progress reports as desired by the client.
    • Recognize and appreciate exceptional performers while at the same time supporting through coaching, those struggling to improve or turn around.
    • Listen to resolve people issues in the project while at the same time, escalate those that are beyond your scope using the right channels.

    Qualifications

    • In-depth knowledge in all processes under pediatrics products.
    • Degree/diploma in any related field is an added advantage.
    • Up to 1-year experience in team leadership or supervisory role.
    • Ability to work and complete projects without supervision, self-motivated.
    • Ability to communicate with discretion and professionalism, understanding when confidentiality is needed.
    • Great people skills- interpersonal, problem solving and team building skills.
    • Organizational and time management skills.
    • Good at MS excel and word.
