    Technical Designer

    Position Summary

    The Technical Designer is responsible for converting creative concepts into production-ready technical outputs that can be costed, approved, fabricated, installed, quality checked, and closed without ambiguity.

    Key responsibilities (summary):

    1. Technical Interpretation and Detailing
    2. Translate Concepts into Production-Ready Drawings
    3. Support Design Interpretation for Production
    4. Material & build up Specification
    5. Develop 2D and 3D Technical Visuals
    6. Support Quality Control

    Education / Training

    1. Diploma or Degree in Technical Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, Mechanical Drafting, or related field.
    2. Training in CAD / technical drawing software

    Experience

    1. 2-3years experience preparing production drawings, shop drawings, fabrication details, or installation detail packages.
    2. Experience working with fabrication, signage, fit-out, exhibition build, event branding, or related technical production environments (wood, metal build ups)
    3. Experience working with revisions, document control, and design-to-production coordination.

    Software & Tools

    1. Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
    2. 3D software (SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, or similar)
    3. CAD knowledge (AutoCAD or similar) is an added advantage
