Compliance Officer at Amref Kenya

MAIN PURPOSE: To provide technical support in ensuring that the operations of Amref Health Africa are ethical, in compliance with donors’ regulations, statutory requirements and internal policies and procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Knowledge

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
2. Certified with relevant professional body; CPA/ACCA, CIA or compliance certification is an added advantage.
3. Ability to operate comfortably within a complex cultural, global environment.
4. Ability to review and analyze financial records, financial reports and statements.
5. Ability to think both tactically and strategically.
6. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent, cross-functional areas of a project(s).
7. Ability to multi-task effortlessly and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines.
8. Possess sound judgment, flexibility and agility in changing courses and solving problems swiftly.

Experience

1. At least four (4) years in compliance and risk management for key donors such as USAID, CDC, EU and Global Fund.
