Technical Sales Representative-Construction Industry
Actively pursue, convert, and close projects involving technical products and services in line with established sales targets.
Provide detailed product information to walk-in clients in the showroom, ensuring they understand the features and benefits of our products for the assigned region.
Work closely with the FTS team to understand clients’ construction and technical needs and generate tailored quotations that address their specific requirements.
Negotiate product pricing and terms with potential clients, ensuring all agreements align with the company’s pricing policies and product offerings.
Prepare accurate and detailed quotations for clients based on their technical requirements and project specifications.
Regularly follow up with clients on generated quotations to ensure timely closure and resolve any questions or concerns.
Collaborate with the finance team to confirm client payments and provide invoicing support as needed.
Work with the dispatch team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods to clients, ensuring satisfaction.
Conduct regular field visits in the assigned region to identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Make after-sales calls to assess client satisfaction with products and services, providing technical support when necessary.
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting business relationships with clients in the assigned region, ensuring a steady pipeline of business.
Maintain an up-to-date database of consultants, contractors, and potential clients to support ongoing business development efforts.
Address and resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently, ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Conduct market intelligence activities to gather insights on competitors, helping guide management decisions on product offerings and sales strategies.
Prepare and submit daily sales reports and weekly pipeline updates in a timely and organized manner.
Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor to support team success.
What You Bring:
Experience: A minimum of 3 years in technical sales or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical products in a clear and compelling way.
Have a valid driver's license
Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of technical products and services, particularly in construction or related industries.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Sage, Senri, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools for sales and reporting.
Proactive & Results-Driven: A self-motivated and proactive individual with a focus on results and customer satisfaction.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to address client concerns and provide tailored solutions.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as finance, dispatch, and management.
