    Digital Media Strategist / Media Buyer

    Key responsibilities

    • Perform client, market and competitor research and analysis.
    • Deliver paid advertising campaigns in line with the agreed strategy and brief.
    • Analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations for improving traffic and ROI.
    • Optimisation of performance campaigns across digital paid marketing channels.
    • Produce insightful client reports that provide feedback on client’s accounts with recommendations that take into account the wider implications for ROI.
    • Keep up to date on new industry developments and share best practices with the digital delivery team.
    • Liaise with clients and attend relevant client meetings where required.
    • Help develop opportunities and new business pitches where appropriate Collaborate across multi-disciplines, to promote a culture of shared knowledge and understanding.

    Skills, knowledge, and experience

    Essential criteria

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field. Proven work experience as Digital Media Strategist / Media Buyer or similar role.
    • 5 years experience in digital media strategy and planning in a client-centered (preferably agency) environment.
    • You should also be Google Ads & Google Analytics certified or working towards it.
    • Recent PPC & social advertising experience, -including the management of accounts across a wide variety of markets, ideally across EMEA, at an agency environment.
    • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of at least two of the following industries: Finance, Ecommerce (Retail), B2B Tech, FMCG or Healthcare
    • Experience of using multiple paid advertising platforms.
    • An ability to produce accurate and insightful reports.
    • Proven ability to work under pressure, against tight deadlines and fast-paced objectives, across multiple clients.
    • Proven ability to work with a team, but also an entrepreneurial and resourceful independent thinker.
    • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
    • A strong customer service orientation and the ability to quickly form customer relationships.
