Theatre Manager at Jalaram Medical Services

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of Theatre, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
• Ensure that patient safety goals are pursued and met in our theatres. Manage theatre schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
• Manage theatre budget and ensure efficient use of supplies and equipment. Lead, mentor, and supervise theatre staff, including nurses, technicians, and support personnel.
• Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Address patient concerns and ensure a positive patient experience.

Education & Professional Qualifications:

• KRCHN/BSCN
• Registered with Nursing Council of Kenya with a valid practice Licence.
• Higher National Diploma or Equivalent or Higher in peri-operative nursing.
• Managerial training is an added advantage

Work Experience

• At least 10 years of experience as a theatre Nurse.
• At least 3 years experience in managerial position.
